Prof/Dr JG Hardman

 

Jonathan Hardman is Professor of Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine, and Head of Anaesthesia and Critical Care at the University of Nottingham. He has been a Consultant Anaesthetist at the Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust for more than 25 years.

He is an eminent expert witness in anaesthesia, providing reports and advice in civil litigation, and in criminal, coronial, and tribunal matters for more than 20 years.​

​

He is an active researcher in anaesthesia, and has published many research manuscripts, review articles and textbooks.

​​

He is the lead editor of the first edition of the Oxford Textbook of Anaesthesia and is the associate editor-in-chief of the British Journal of Anaesthesia.

​

He is co-director of the Interdisciplinary Collaboration in Systems Medicine and is an authority in modelling biological systems.
